The 5th World Human Rights Art Festival on the theme "Rediscovering Gender: New Roles - New Rights?" is Open Horizons cultural presentation for 2006. It reflects contemporary social concerns and its basic aim is to help shape human relations on an equal basis and to raise public awareness on approaching and respecting the "other" through an open and genuine review of relations between the sexes.

The events of the Festival include a Visual Arts Exhibition, Film Screenings, and Happenings.

Through dialogue between art and society, representatives of the cultural and social organisations attempt to track the changes that have taken place in gender roles and communications codes between the sexes in the post-feminist age, as well as in behaviours that affect human relations and social values.
