Broken Materialities
Six artists with 22 works in four consecutive rooms explore the question of materiality in a world full of cracks, fissures and ruptures.
The re-presentation of a fluid, worn, and refracted universe through the distorting mirror of reality goes through the dialogue with old and modern archeologies and mythologies, the uses and reuses of materials and spaces, the deconstruction of certainties, the undermining of normality, the grotesque of figures and the disturbed balances of Age.
If the world is constantly in need of a point of departure and support, an Archimedean point, this today cannot be other than the concept of decay and the image of the crack...
