IF IT SOUNDS LIKE BACON YOURE DOING IT RIGHT
Individual artists and artist's collectives were invited in 2017 to respond to a particular window of the A-DASH Project Space in Athens. Each artist created a poster/graphic design that took into account and played with the design of the metal grid that protects the window. The posters were visible from the street, at night, for one month.
The window in question was fully replaced and custom installed by the A-DASH team. Welded into place, the metal work protecting it incorporated a typical Athenian modernist design. Hence the title: if you are welding right, it sounds like sizzling bacon.
