CHEAPART@Art-Athina AA Virtual 2020
As a part of Αrt Athina Virtual 2020, CHEAPART presents the exhibition "in the name" and the video of the performance "BACK TO BASICS: The Alphabet"
CHEAPART is present at Art-Athina from 2001. Over 55 Athenian Galleries participate in the premiere of AA Virtual platform, launched due to the unprecedented conditions that emerged with the advent of the coronavirus. Art Athina Virtual 2020 is organized by the Hellenic Art Galleries Association and to the Art Athina team, under the patronage of H.E. The President of the Hellenic Republic Ms Katerina Sakellaropoulou, with the support of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports.
CHEAPART presents the exhibition "εἰς τὸ ὄνομα... / in the name..." in physical space from October 9 – 18, at 25 Apollonos Str. Plaka, Mitropoli in Athens. It is a part of the Cultural Program "Αθήνα-Σημεία Τομής/ Athens-Intersection", held under the Auspices/ Support of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports, organised by APART Art Research & Applications, coordinated by CHEAPART, collaborating organization FOTA/ Friends of Trigono Athens.
The exhibition is open to Art Athina visitors as part of the Art Athina Week 13 - 20.10.2020, while at the same time it is accessible on the digital platform Art Athina Viewing Rooms.

A Modular exhibition on faith, disbelief and other miracles, curated by Georg Georgakopoulos, with the participation of Nikos Artemis, Eleanna Balesi, Kostas Bassanos, Dimosthenis Bogiatzis, Katerina Botsari, Sotiris Fokeas, Vasilis Galanis, Vangelis Gokas, Babis Karalis, Markela Kontaratou, Dimitris Kontodimos, Kostas Lales, Natalia Manta, Despoina Pantazi, Nina Papaconstantinou, Nikos Papadimitriou, Amo Soy, Kleopatra Tsali, Kostas Tsolis, Andreas Vousouras, Dimitri Yin.
"BACK TO BASICS: The Alphabet" performance (concept, research, dramaturgy & choreography by Antonis Liveropoulos), curated by Ingo Starz was presented during Back to Athens 2020 International Festival July 1 – 4, 2020. The video of the performance by Filippos Vokotopoulos, is CHEAPART's selected proposal for the performance section “Signs of proximity” curated by Marina Fokidis at Art Athina Virtual.
