The first exhibition of Athens Intersection at the old Paper Warehouse at the Athens Commercial Triangle
12 contemporary artists immerse themselves into the past, revealing a hidden reality that suddenly acquires new substance. The artwork identifies as a sequence of marginal notes and reminders on the walls, resembling visitors tabs in time. Each piece reveals a individual story and the artwork all together, a new collective narrative.
For the past two decades the 1920 former paper warehouse has remained empty and desolate. The original decoration and distinct architectural features that mark the interior, make the building stand out until this today. R E M I N D E R S exhibition calls upon the artists to revive a long, forgotten, architectural gem, situated within the heart of the commercial triangle of Athens.

The exhibition "R E M I N D E R S" is presented by the Athens Intersection Cultural Program as a part of the artistic agenda through which the Athens Commercial Triangle Revitalization Program of the Municipality of Athens, implemented with the exclusive donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (ISN), invites us to explore the cultural and historical heritage of Athens. The Old Warehouse of 3 Chrysospiliotissis Street which hosts the exhibition, is courtesy of the Chatzikosta Foundation in the context of the Athens Intersection Cultural Program curated by George Georgakopoulos and coordinated by Fotini Kapiris, Performance series curated by Thanos Vovolis.
