Community Tools
Amphicar Studio is an artist-run space founded in 2019 to create an artist platform open to collabo-rations. The approach of the domestic contemporary art scene serves as its main goal, while the fo-cus is placed around the essence of community and the tools it consists of.
Amphicar Studio, comprised by 8 resident artists, invites 8 others with the purpose of collaboration, as well as the search for personal tools for the evolution of artistic practice that shape the art com-munity. Each artistic practice contributes to the community as a whole, while the blending and in-fluences among artists are an asset to the collective artistic process, forming the bigger picture. Each artist’s personal tools organize the contemporary artistic identity holistically. Through their personal artistic tools and methods, sixteen artists create dialogue and interaction, which form the contemporary art scene of Athens
